Green Dust

Grust is a green control deck with multiple highly flexible ways to win games. Your entire gameplan is to efficiently control your opponent to the best of your abilities as you have very efficient cards, and ultimately outlast your opponent because they either run outta stuff by mill or you just get enough random stuff your opponent cant deal with it. Your starts are very bland as the only starter you can easily run is pillager, but he's very efficient and fits super well into curves. Your game plan is highly revolved around V in forevermore, as its a massive card advantage engine that also depowers to help you keep up the board. If you can be sticking it t2 you absolutely want to, and it's even worth mass discarding into certain matchups for that insane amount of value. It's so good that if you have 2 on board you can start to mill cards in monogreen which is insane. V also synergizes stupidly well with zolerus to form the ideal BNB t3 of the deck. With Zolerus, his effect has two states, the first where he depowers and the second where he actually destroys. Both go from right to left when they check. What V in Forevermore can do is when Zolereus destroys a card in the middle of his effect, V’s effect triggers and lets you depower a card. So if your opponent has a 100 power fighter to the left of a card that's being destroyed, V can depower it and it will now die instead of living like it otherwise would have. The deck does well into swarmier agro decks as it packs a lot of wipes, while being a bit annoying to play vs taller decks but you run heavier single target stuff like sundebted farmers and scripths to deal with those. Your best piece of single target removal is actually Clinten. This card is secretly very versatile despite not looking like it. More single target removal is always great in this deck, but the card also procs V twice to generate you loads of more cards. Most of your other cards are more generalist in nature and exist to help with your gameplan of slowing the game down, like pirates and evil artists. You also run the Holy Trinity of green wipes in (in order of generally best to worst) Draconic Uprising, Mass Epidemic, and Crisis of Faith. 1X is also fantastic here because an aoe set to 250 is incredible into so many boards. As a final footnote on the wipes the deck still runs war because pillager allows it to be fit into the curve going first. The line of pillager into War of All Against All destroys certain decks like picants or doges going first. Your matchups into certain decks can revolve around knowing what your opponent has and getting rid of it before it can become a threat. For example Vs Bligants, you need to slime out Skullstein as he can just repeat set there fighters and you can depower. Thankfully he's pretty easy to deal with as you can pack enough tall cards to take him down. On the other hand, there are certain decks where you're forced to become the aggressor(namely stags). In these matchups, DONT PLAY THE TERRAIN!!! It's an opponent wincon in those matchups. You need to beat them over the head with as much V in forevermore junk as possible, and killing your own cards is a highly viable and advisable strategy to perform. To circle back around to the opening line, the deck has 3 different ways to win the game. The primary way is to mill your opponent out. This is done with As the World ends because that card does an obscene amount of things. The card is effectively removal(700 depower is a lot if its just a statstick), gives you repeat wipes and hate hate(300 aoe is a lot on some boards and decay can also proc V for more cards) and accelerates both your wincons, with the primary being getting your opponent closer to milling out and then killing them ways faster in fatigue, and the secondary one being ramping up your secondary wincon. That secondary wincon is burn, which revolves primarily around 2 cards in your other non pillager starter Helliura and Sanctiflora ascendant. Worlds end makes sanctiflora so good in this deck as it can easily do 1.5k-2k burn in most matchups without trying, which is a massive swing. It additionally heals you a bunch and is sticky, so it's a great recovery tool if you end up needing it as well. The final wincon which has been alluded to over the course of this guide is random cards from V. In certain matchups, V can generate so much value that your opponent can't keep up and you can win that way. Additionally, into control matchups V can give you a turbo high end win con like Divine Equilibrium and win you the game that way. Due to the prevalence of Scottish and Bligants in the meta, this version of the deck leans into single target control tools a bit more. The deck is rather good at all rounding and dealing with tall and small decks. Its main matchup woes are scottish because its very annoying to deal with so many tall fighters(and meta girl ripping your hand in half despicable card), so if you struggle with them you can substitute out a few of your more anti wide agro cards for more single target stuff like Sundebted farmer or another clinten.
