Blue Gigants

Blue Gigants is a blue midrange deck with greedy but consistent starts enabled by Brixzee! and Uranium, with 5 1 drops (Spark and EzCheez, who you double discard for) on top of zPikmon to enable hitting 5B t2 with a double discard. Here you play Skullsten to buff your 1 drop or itself and enable dropping cheap statsticks later; a big part of the deck is maintaining a boardstate which then snowballs into trading efficiently with theawesomist19 (who can swap gigants to uptrade tall threats, push face damage or generally fix trades and set up 1nicopatty procs), throwing out stats for cheap with Skullsten and refilling your hand with SilentSwords. With Brixzee! And Uranium you often tutor SilentSwords as a t3 play with a respectable 350 (or 400 with Skullsten) haste that cantrips, giving board advantage for +0, on top of immediately setting up a value engine; your opponent is pressured into targeting your t2 Dr. Grey or Skullsten or your SilentSwords here and often can be punished by whichever they leave up. Skullsten is another good tutor target if you lack bodies in your opening hand, with a t1 zPikmon + Brixzee! and Uranium giving you a 1500/400 and 1400/500 t2. With 2 copies as your starter it’s often good to tutor both (which you can do as 4 discards for 5b t2 lets you play one, discard then play the other to have staggered costs) to setup both your stats and cardflow. Midgame tutoring for 4 when you don’t have discard fodder is not bad as it usually tutors a cheap gigant for procs. 1nicopatty trades very well here as it crosses several important breakpoints with gigants: 300 power gigants kill 400 health fighters with 1nicopatty, and 400 trades with 500. While nowhere near the terrorism of being able to be targeted by Skullsten and theawesomist19, the modern version of the card is still a cheap gigant proc that hugely helps the deck’s swing and trading potential. Assist Trophy is another key piece of this deck, being an alternate way to powerbuff gigants without Skullsten and working with Skullsten to make huge 900 power threats (an important breakpoint killing Havaluvian Bounty Hunters) alongside its combo with Dr. Grey giving you great tempo and cardflow early. Blue Gigants is good at keeping traction but bad at recovering it when behind, with all of its value coming from fighter engines. This makes it vulnerable to decks that can boardswing or aggro decks, with Doges being able to consistently develop a boardstate before Blue Gigants can setup. Relying on boardstate so heavily also makes it weak into combo (since blue doesn’t have hand disruption) or control decks without early theawesomist19 kills.
